Philippines — September 18, 2025 | Mulave Studios, Inc. officially relaunched Mulave Academy during the Western Visayas Digital Creatives Conference (WVDCC) 2025. Co-presented with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Innovate Iloilo, the conference highlighted the collaboration between the government, industry, academe, and the creative sector in strengthening the startup and creative ecosystem of Western Visayas. The event was held in celebration of Philippine Creative Industries Month, Malikhaing Pinoy, and Innovative Startup Fest 2025, in partnership with DICT, Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry – Iloilo City, LEDIP, NSync, UMWAD Western Visayas, the Animation Council of the Philippines, Inc. (ACPI), and Mulave Studios Academy.
During the event, Sir Ruel Benliro Jr., Chief Operations Officer of Mulave Studios, Inc., presented how the Academy embodies this pledge—highlighting its history, beginnings, and vision to advance creative excellence and innovation within Region 6.

Providing our students and participants with access to the latest software and hardware allows them to work on real-world projects and showcase their skills to potential employers—from character design to 2D, graphic design, to post-video production.”
Mulave Academy has already partnered with universities to open doors of opportunity for aspiring creatives, innovators, and storytellers through student internships. Partner universities include West Visayas State University (WVSU), Central Philippine University (CPU), Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U), University of St. La Salle – Bacolod, University of Perpetual Help System – Pueblo de Panay Campus, St. Anthony’s College Antique, PHINMA University of Iloilo, Colegio de San Jose, University of Antique, and University of San Agustin – Iloilo.
Mulave Academy also introduced the areas it currently offers, including Animation, Graphic Design, UI/UX, and Video and Film Production. With industry exposure, Mulave Academy has already empowered over 500 students and aspiring artists across Western Visayas, and continues to do so.
Mulave Academy looks forward to supporting even more creatives, growing alongside the rising digital industry of the region, and building a stronger future for the next generation of innovators and storytellers.
