Mulave Academy has relaunched its shoes back into running!
After a long hiatus brought about by the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Mulave Academy is back in full swing this 2025 — reigniting its mission to empower today’s aspiring digital creatives through workshops, seminars, and talks led by industry professionals.
Following the successful cohorts held before the pandemic, the Academy officially resumed its workshop series with the third cohort — the Storyboarding for Animation Workshop. Held on June 21 and 28, 2025, at the AAMC Barbo Building, Jalandoni Street, Jaro, Iloilo City, the event marked a strong step forward in upholding Mulave Academy’s vision to nurture and inspire creative minds.
Led by Mulave’s Senior Animator, Sir Paolo Martin Dela Cruz, the workshop guided eleven (11) aspiring storyboard artists in exploring the art and discipline of storyboarding — covering its fundamentals, do’s and don’ts, and industry best practices.
The workshop concluded with resounding success, earning positive feedback and satisfaction from both participants and organizers alike — a clear sign that the Academy’s creative momentum is truly back in motion.
